[ale] I did a bad bad thing...

I onetime (as root) unwittingly dragged the /etc directory to a subdirectory
under /boot.  Didn't find out until I re-booted.  ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WOULD
WORK AGAIN.  The moral, of course is, don't use GUI file manager as root.

I only do server configs in console mode now ...pj
