It's at best a minor annoyance. Since ATT is only filtering port 80, a simple
solution is to move the service to another port. I did it the first day and
my server is perfectly happy.
ATT is not contracted to support any services for home users. They've allowed
it as a courtesy. But CRII is damaging machines and sucking up network
bandwidth. Since these services should be small time anyway, due to the fact
that ATT only has semi-static IP numbers, users such as myself should be
annoyed. But not screwed.
The filter is the correct solution.
