I ran across a link to http://www.ls2k.org/ today.

I'm a little confused. The homepage leads me to believe that it's just a
face to put on windows. In the FAQ however, it says that you can use
LiteStep as an alternative OS. But in the screenshots, they show someone
playing

Anyone who's played with this? I'd like to learn a bit more before trying
it.
