[ale] 2001 Linux Showcase?

Cade,

I don't know anything about this decision.  I can say that having been
more involved with it in the past, putting on a trade show is a lot of
work, especially when it is not your day job.  In fact, I don't think
that even I appreciate how much work it is for the leaders.
