[ale] reinstall quake II

Well, I've got some time on my hands and I'm trying to reinstall Quake
II.  I've got it running, but not with the glide/3dfx stuff.  /proc/pci
shows my card, but quake II complains:

_GlideInitEnvironment: libglide2x.so expected Voodoo Graphics, none
detected

Anyone seen this before?
