[ale] Mandrake 7.1 and XFree 4.0

I have gotten tired of fighting with Corel Linux, and I am going to install 
a nice new copy of Man. 7.1. I was wondering if I should install XFree 4.0 
or not. Mostly, are any incompatibilities or major problems introduced by 
running 4.0 as opposed to 3.3.8.
