I believe this is incorrect.  I've played a bit with VMware and followed
quite a bit of discussion regarding various installations.  There is a
documented way to run an existing NT installation via vmware under
Linux.

I've not done it, but I've scanned the information.  It's on the VMware
site, but I don't recall the actual site.  It was a bit too cumbersome
for my testing purposes.

Check with vmware.
