[ale] xdm question

Hello

	I just downloaded XwinPro 5.3 for my windows box. and I have a
slackware 7 server at home, when I connect to it I get the user name and
login that you should see but when I type my username and passwd it just
pops up agian, I've used this before but a long time ago. I think I am
forgetting something but what I can't remeber...
	if someone could refresh my memory I would appreciate it.

The answer is simple if you grant that ironies are like submarines; 
dangerous only when submerged.
