[ale] Anyone mirroring with a Promise card ?

I read on Promise's website that it's Drive Defender card 
would run under Linux if kernel>2.1.68 (I think that's correct) and UDMA 
functionality implemented.
??
If you have this going how did you do it and more 
particularly, did you have any problem getting the target drive (versus the 
source) accepted as = or > the source drive ?
