I downloaded the public release (wp7?) which was pretty flakey. I bought
wp8 for Linux at Office Depot sometime last summer, and it's still a bit
goosey, though mayby not _quite_ so bad. It certainly convinced me not to 
consider Draw-Paint for Linux, which made it _well_ worth the $19.95!
