[ale] Web OutLook?

Ok,
  I'm starting the University of Phoenix.  They use M$ Outlook Express
for mail and news.  They also have a WWW based version.  

  I'm trying to use Netscape on my laptop to access the WWW based version
using communicator/navigator, or even just the news/mail using 
communicator's functionality.

  Has anyone seen anything like this or been able to get such 
functionality?
