I don't think apache itself can do it internally, but you can
probably achieve something similar with logrotate.
Another option would be to set the log filename pipe to a
program and then have that program take care of rotating the logs
(the writing of said program is of course left as an exercise for the
reader :). Check the documentation on the mod_log_common module and
for the ErrorLog and TransferLog directives for more details.
