[ale] Titanic Story from the past

I'm trying to track down a story aI read a while back.  After titanic 
came out  there was a really nice write up of the parts that M$ and Linux 
played in the special effects.  After it got out, someone at one of the
M$ mags edited the hell out of it, even though it was written by the guy
who ran the shop.  It was re-edited by him and re-posted.  Does anyone have 
a link or the final editing, etc from this?
