[ale] Modem Drivers

I am trying to find drivers for a MaxTech NetPacer Pro. It is a 56K,
V.90 internal PCI voice fax modem, plug & play. It is model N-XPV56P
with a Lucent chip set. The chips are HV90P-T and 1034AH-J. This is not
a winModem, the CD has drivers for DOS6.0 and WFW3.X as well as
win95/NT.

MaxTech tech support's reply was

"     That modem will not work under Linux.   "

as expected. I went with the internal for monetary reasons and have used
it under NT4.0 as a proxy server. I switched to Linux as an ip-masq type
firewall for security, but have only been able to get it to recognize my
older isa based 33.6.

Any help would be appreciated.
