What have I done?
I was booting up into GUI interface, and was reading a Howto, where it said
something like "you can switch back and forth into tty windows by pressing
Ctrl-Alt-F1 or between different tty with Alt-F1, ..F2 and so on.
I did this and got a new terminal log in, which I logged in as root.
The problem is I can't seem to get back out of this mode, and I can't find
the howto I was in, to read further about this.
If I do a complete shutdown and boot now, I get the same terminal login
even though I have "Init default runlevel" set to 5.
I can run "startx" from this terminal window but why is it not booting to
level 5?
How do I undo what I have done?
Thanks, (this is really a helpful list, unlike some others....)
