I think there are 2 answers to this.
You can use multiple USB keyboards and mice now (2.3.x),
but they are all merged into the same input stream
(all keyboards; all mice). This won't exactly
give you a 2-user system.
My (limited) understanding is that there is some
X work going on in this area, but I'm not keeping
up with that. I don't know when it might be ready.
