[ale] Web Server

Guys,

I'm not to familiar with Web Servers.  I was wondering how strong of a box would I need to support 6000 hits an hour?  The users will use the web to query an Oracle database using Java Web server by Sun.  

I would prefer to do this with Linux, but right it looks like I will need to use Sun (Intel or Sparc).

Side note:  Does Apache Web server support Java servlets?
