[ale] WHY->floating pt exception when running Netscape

Running 3.04Gold [I don't want a later version, I'm running this version
on FreeBSD2.2.5, RedHat6.1, Unixware7, etc., and am satisfied], I am
able to boot as follows:

	/netscape &

and all proceeds, except that when I click on an icon on say....
www.musicmatch.com, Netscape blows up, i.e. exits the KDE desktop, and I
get error msg -> floating point exception netscape.

What might be wrong ?
