[ale] Helpdesk 5.1

Has anyone had any success installing and getting Helpdesk 5.1 running under RH 6 or 6.1?  It is a MySQL and Web based help desk software.  Seem that I'm having problems getting the Apache running with mod_perl. I thought that the apache that was installed with RH 6.1 had mod_perl enabled.  But I suppose not.
