Yes, Win98 is just like Win95 as far as setting up dual boot.  I just did this
last month on my new Transmonde Vivante SE (nice laptop!). I used partition
magic to do the repartitioning.

If you are new to using fdisk and fips, I recommend Partition Magic 4.0 as it
now recognizes Linux filesystems.
