[ale] Security question

Today I came home and checked my mail it logcheck sent me a bunch of stuff
saying someone tried to connect to my server. I checked /etc/hosts.deny
and got the ip, did host <ip> and got the domain (bconnected.net).
nslookup says there is no such domain, but whois shows the contacts etc.
My question is, should I send my logs to the admin, or just let it go? Ive
never had this happen before, but I think its really cool that logcheck
and sentry appears to have worked.
