[ale] Russian Character set

Does anybody know where to find and how to install a font for the
koi8-r encoding to properly display Cyrillic characters on a
Linux workstation using Netscape Navigator?  The encoding appears
to be in Navigator, but there is no mapping information loaded in
the preferences section.  In fact, the encoding does not even show
up in the mapping section.
