[ale] errors on boot

create a file called xtab in the said directory, and you will boot without error...
man nfs for explanation on the xtab file itself.  I'm not sure quite what it does..I know I do not
use it but it is in my directory and is blank.

I am getting the following on boot-up:

Starting NFS mountd
mountd: couldn't stat /var/lib/nfs/xtab

When I went to look what was in /var/lib/nfs/xtab, there was no file named
"xtab".
Any insight?

Also second question, how do it mount dos partitions?
