[ale] Won't Go--> printing to non-local printer from RedHat5.2

Greetings Again !

Thanks to all for the many responses regarding earlier difficulties this
week.

Now, printing from RedHat5.2 to RedHat4.2 which BTW prints OK from it's
local printer, I get the error message............

"abc.dom:    lpd:    lp:    Your host does not have line printer
access."

when I......

lpr <file>

I used the printer config tool from the control panel to set the printer
up as...........

Name <- lp
Spool Dir <- /var/spool/lpd/lp
Remote Queue <- lp
Filter <- *auto* - Epson24

Also, when I click on Tests -> Print Ascii Test Page, I get...........

Test page printed to queue lp.

What's wrong and how can I repair it ?
