[ale] ide-scsi

I have an HP 7200i CD-RW and trying to get it to work with cdrecord.  I have
loaded ide-scsi.o and sg.o and have no idea which device to use for cdrecord.
I also have an adaptec card loaded.  This is Caldera 2.2. It also seems there is no
documentation under /usr/src/linux/Documentation on this feature.  Has anyone here 
been able to get this to work under cdrecord and xcdroast and know which device
to use?
