[ale] Linux JFS?

Redhat (Stephen Tweedie) has been working on this for awhile now.
SGI has announced OSS release for its XFS(?), but nobody
seems to know when it will show up.  SGI and Veritas are
working on something together, which may be the XFS OSS release.
