If the mobo has this capability, then there *should* be a BIOS configuration
option letting you set the default action when power comes back on: on, last
state, suspend, ...

Kind of off-topic, but something that might affect many:
Most ATX products (mobo/power supply) have a logical power switch whereas
PCs
used to have physical power switches. The difference? With logical, the
motherboard is in control, not me.
Also, if (as happened today) you have a power outage, an ATX machine won't
automatically power up... since the power switch is merely a pushbutton and
not a 2-position switch, it doesn't "remember" that it was on before.
So, the question is how can I force ATX machines to power up when they
regain AC and not just sit there looking stupid?
