ALE,
I've run into a dead end with find help on this problem & maybe someone in the
ALE can help out.
I have RedHat 5.2 running at work and I need to access data on a hard drive
that comes from a Xenix system.
At the root prompt, I type "mount -t xenix /dev/hdb /mnt/xenix" and get the
msg "mount: fs not supported by kernel".
According to O'Reilly's "Running Linux", page 148, Linux should be able to
access the data on such a drive.
Do I need to rebuild the kernel and recompile?? Any help would be much
appreciated.
J
