Hi everyone,
I'm having problems with Xfree86 3.3.2-318 and my AMD K6-300 D2. This board
has onboard integrated SiS 6326 8mg AGP vid, but I note Xfree 332 does not
appear to directly support this. The best I can seem to get out of
experimenting with the xf86 db selections is by choosing the 'generic'
SVGA_server; the Xprobe comes back with 25.18 (well, sometimes, depending
on what I've done). But I can only get low-res, and only about 2/3rds of
the viewable area is scrollable at that, and ctrl-alt-[keybd]+/- does
nothing. It is hovever, an impressively quick, albeit crippled, desktop! If
I knew how to 'tweak' the XF86Config file, I would; any ideas? Using RH
5.1. Monitor is a 17" ViewSonic G773, and with the Sis a/a, this system
supports up to 1280x1024x16bit under Win95. 128mg system RAM. TIA.
