This one is for the security conscience:
I am looking at encryption software and have heard of PGP. I know they have
been "acquired" by Network Associates a while back. Has this changed the
public opinion or quality of PGP and is it still the most used encryption
package? Are people starting to use GnuPGP and are the 2 compatible? The key
for me is: strong, free, and widely used. As you can see I may not even know
what I am talking about, but information would be appreciated.
