[ale] web server

I brought down cleanly a Solaris web-server last friday
and when we brought it back up it looked fine except for the fact that
any attempts to access the server using netscape are greeted
with the follwoing error:
A network error occured:
unable to connect to server
The server may be down or unreachable
I can ping the server and remotely log in and ftp and all that,
but no netscape.
I did ps -alef
| grep http
and it looks like the httpd (dwhttpd) is running. I don't know what
else to check. It was working fine before the shutdown. Also,
netscape gives ther same error message when run on the server itself,
so I doubt that it is an issue with refusing foreign connections.
Any ideas? I don't really have much experience with web servers
and I don't even know what the name of the solaris web server is!
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Marc
