Umm, yeah, as it was said before, that's a WinModem, and will never
work under Linux... well, maybe if Bill Gates goes to work for TransMeta...

is XFree86-S3 installed?

Make sure your kernel is compiled to support the card (use modules!), then run
sndconfig.
/usr/src/linux/README for more info on the kernel (if it's not there,
install the kernel-src RPM); sndconfig is pretty self-explanatory.
