[ale] Root Password Problem

Hello,
  By default, logging into a box as root 'is a bad thing'.  It is disabled
in RedHat (and I think) Caldera.  If someone is 'sniffing' the network,
they can obtain the root password.  If your paths are messed up, try su -
instead of su.
