[ale] Mail List Managers (was: MajorDomo Failing)

My, what a fortunate coincindence.  I am getting ready to set up my
first mailing list and am pretty clueless as to which ones are
available, and who thinks what about them.

Can any experienced list managers post their experiences and 
preferences?
