Well after the "best bang for the buck" search, I noticed that Office
Depot is selling the western digital 8.5 for $229.00 with a $30
mail-in.  There is a coupon in their flyer for a free canon flat bed
color scanner with purchase of this drive.  This is a really great deal
for anyone without a scanner.  I already have a scanner so I don't think
I am going to buy the drive, but wanted to let everyone know

P.S. one drawback is the scanner is printer port and not SCSI
