A couple of weeks ago I posted a question concerning a problem connecting my
Linux box with Mindspring.  Someone was patient and thoughtful enough to
post a solution, and I was foolish enough to lose it.  My apologies - I will
repost the question:

Last year Mindpsring went from a static IP addressing scheme to a dynamic
one.  Their help pages do not resolve how routing is accomplished.

I can connect just fine, but can not get anywhere, e.g. ping anything.  I
was wondering if is using Mindspring and figured out the routing scheme.  If
someone has figured this out, and would be good enough to post their
solution, I would greatly appreciate it.
