[ale] Bad partion table - addendum

I booted up off a dos disk and tried fdisk /mbr, but got:

First hard disk sector zero has no boot sector id
Initialize? [Y/N]

I decided to say no, cause that sounds like it'll wipe out what may
still be there.
Anyone know if that'll be the case, or is it telling me it'll just
initialize the boot sector?
