[ale] Linux on laptop

I would like to install linux(redhat) on a laptop(ctx).  For example, My
harddrive is 3.2Gb.  Does anyone know what is a good way to partion the
drive, like win95 will be hda1 so linux will use hda2 (linux native) and
hda3(linux swap).

If someone has done this type of installation on their laptop please email
me with the steps/operations performed.
