[ale] SVGALIB and Q2 (kinda off topic...)

Ok,
  I'm trying to run Q2 in Console at higher than 320x200.  I've added some
dotclock lines to /etc/vga/svgalib.conf from what the XF86config gives
me.  It doesn't seem to help.

Anyone got any ideas?
