[ale] redhat installation help needed!!!

Guess what, I purchased the Que book which included OPen linux, redhat
2.0.x and slackware.  I liked the installation process it was much easier
then the slackware.

One problem, when i got to the installation on lilo this is what i  did:
entered root password; then  chose /dev/hda1 bootable; then i got an
error. Then it went through the process for root password.  I then booted
from the boot disk and used the supp.img disk and this process took me to
the root prompt. Any suggestions to fix this problem while I am in root
account, I tried to look for a lilo.conf file and try to edit the file but
couldn't find it.
