Hi all!
Okay -- I'm thinking seriously about making the plunge into SMP(?) land,
and I was wanting some advice on Dual Processors.
I'm looking at a Dual Pentium (Not Pro or PII) board, called the Tyan
S1564D Tomcat IV Dual Pentium 75-233 MHz System Board
(http://www.tyan.com/html/body%5Fs1564d.html) ... Does anyone have any
experience with these boards?
How hard is it to get Linux to support 2 processors? (I know you have to
enable the support when you compile the kernel, but is there more?)
The reason I ask is to get all the information I can (especially about
good/bad things regarding this motherboard), and I can't seem to find a
Multi-processor FAQ.
Thanks!
Jay
