[ale] WAY OFFTOPIC: aix printing to solaris-2.5.1?

  At work I'm trying to get an aix-4 box to print to a solaris host.
I can have other solaris boxes print to it, but when I do an 
"lpstat -p<printer>" it tells me it's ready, waits about 30secs
and says it's down.  

  Anyone got any AIX experience?  This is my first time messing with
AIX and don't know any good resources...
