Hi, i am a new user to Linux, and I would like to know how to use PPP to
connect to my ISP through Linux. I read the MiniHOWTO, and i setup the PPP
configuration through the command line. However when i go to type in the
commands that it says to type:
exec pppd connect \
'chat -v -f /etc/ppp/chatscript' \
-detach crtscts modem defaultroute \
user dirk \
/dev/modem 115200
It says "pppd not found."
I then went into X Windows and used the network Configuration applet to set
it up, and everything was setup, however, i can't find a way to connect.
Is there a way to connect through X Windows? Thanks.
