[ale] CONNECTING TO NT PPP SERVER

What do I need to do to allow my Redhat 4 Linux box to connect to an
NT 4 RAS server running PPP!  When I use minicom to connect, the NT box
does not give me a login prompt!  Do I need to use PAP? or CHAP?

Also, is there any software available to allow Linux to establish a VPN
with a gauntlet 3.2 firewall?

Any help on the above subjects is greatly appriciated!
