[ale] Imprints onto paper

I am interested in scanning an image either jpg or bmp or tif, which will
be imprinted onto regular paper.  
This image will be printed on workorders /PO's
Whats the format for this process? 
And what software do I need to make the imprint appear onto the printed
paper.
The logo will be 2 inches by 2 inches.
