[ale] cleaning up after new kernel compile

I just compiled a new Kernel for RedHat 4.1. Naturally, I
cut out a lot of the modules that were installed with the
distribution. After compiling the kernel and doing a "make zdisk"
and booting up, I get a bunch of error messages from insmod, like
this...

insmod: make_EII_client: wrong version or undefined

I get one of these for every module that I didn't
re-install. I have done "make modules" and "make modules_install".
How do I get the kernel, (or whatever) to stop looking for these
modules? I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but keep in mind I
am booting from a test kernel on a floppy right now, whereas previously
I was using LILO.

	Thanks in advance....
