For one, the linux machine is a 486dx25 with 8M and the '95 machine is a
486dx66 with 20M, and for another, I'm pretty sure I'm getting some kind
of packet loss somewhere because when I use talk programs like Iphone, I
can hear other ppl fine, but my sound comes across gapped and lossy (this
on a 33.6 modem). I want to connect the modem directly to the '95 machine
and see if that changes anything.
