As a highly technical unix enthusiast I agree with you.  I am put off by all of these 
childish flames for someone who post a note with content, relalvaency, and honesty.  
While it did captialize the subject, and was on the longish side, it was not rude, 
insulting, or demeaning towards ALE, Linux, or any individuals.

I cannot say the same about the replies.

You know if an ALE memeber had fowarded the same exact note, I doubt any flames would 
have happened.
