Last I heard, plan9 is a commercial product of Lucient Technologies now.
There are some expensive books from one of the major publishing houses,
which can include the source/binaries for plan9.

I think you can look up plan9 on the Lucient Technolgies web page.

Now, if somebody would play with plan9 for a while - I would _love_ hear
about the experience.
