[ale] Netscape proxy to Linux?

I've all versions of netscape with a version 4 socks daemon with no problems, after it is all connected.

Potentiallly you have a version 5 daemon and netscape demands a version 4.

I thought netscape was 5 aware.

You try some other socks aware winsock apps:
  ws-ftp
  nettterm (a must have!)
  
Other wise, you did click "manaul" in netscape, right?
